Cerberus Illusion Bred is the first creme bicolor show & breed Ragdoll male born at Cerberus Illusion cattery. He was born to our Queen Candy and King Jami. Both parents were health tested before breeding in the German Labogen laboratory for over 30 diseases (HCM & PKD included) with negative results (N/N). Of course, both parents are FeLV and FIV negative!

Choosing his name

This cute boy was born almost white, while I wished a red male so much. It was clear since the beginning that there is him… But as he was growing his color was so light I had to start thinking about creme as the diluted version of red. He was mesmerizing and so special. His eyes were dark contrasting so nice with light color of his coat.

As this boy was from our B litter, his name had to start letter B. And as he was supposed to be red – I simply tried B+red = Bred. He liked it, so it was clear we have his name selected.

Mother´s beloved son

Candy, his mother, wanted to have her son close to herself all the time. Even if I wanted to take some photos of him, she came to us, close to him…

Cerberus Illusion Bred – the most calm and most cuddling kitten

Bred is the most cuddling kitten from B litter and also the most calm. He is purring as soon as I get close to him – incredible, but I think he inherited this from his Daddy Jami 🙂

He loves to help at toilet cleaning – he is the first one present there, checking if I do a good job. At the beginning he used to jump into the toilet, but now he already knows that I cannot tidy it up if he is there (ideally lying).

Feeding our big boy

Bred is a really big boy, the biggest kitten from the whole litter. He weighed 1600 grams at the age of 10 weeks and keep growing. Bred was approximately 3 weeks old when I first offered them food – canned chicken and tuna, soaked dried kitten food and finally raw meat. He preferred mother´s milk and started eating 1 week later. Similarly as his Daddy, he prefers raw meat.
