Cerberus Illusion Brendy

Cerberus Illusion Brendy is the first chosen show & breed Ragdoll female kitten at Cerberus Illusion cattery. She was born to our Queen Candy and King Jami. Both parents were health tested before breeding in the German Labogen laboratory for over 30 diseases (HCM & PKD included) with negative results (N/N). Of course, both parents are FeLV and FIV negative!

Choosing her name

Cerberus Illusion Brendy

Both our girls from B litter were reserved before mating. One for pet and the other one for breeding. The owner of the pet kitten wrote me plenty of time upfront the name for her little girl as well as boy (as she did not know the sex of her future kitten). As a breeder, I allow to our owners who reserve their kitten soon to choose the name. I offered this option also for the breeder who wanted a female for breeding. The time was passing and we were observing both girl till the one for show was chosen.

Cerberus Illusion Brendy

This cute girl was already 9 or 10 weeks old and she still did not have any name. Once, we started to find out a name for her at home while cuddling her. When we mentioned “Brenda”, she started thinking, but as soon as she heard “Brendy”, it was clear, she loves it. This is, how she got her name.

Mother´s beloved kid

Her mother enjoyed having kittens very much 🙂 She loved them and raised them with plenty of love and patient even in moments when Brendy decided to occupy mum´s favorite place – the desk.

Brendy is very playful and loves to play alone as well as with her sister.

Cerberus Illusion Brendy – the vacuum cleaning kitten

Brendy is a really fearless kitten ready to observe anything first. When I started vacuum cleaning at them, they were really small, but they could meet the sound first, later they could also see that strange machine and as soon as they left the whelping box, they wanted to meet it, too. Brendy was the first who decided not only to have a look at it, but fight that big noisy “monster”. She was so cute. You can see this moment in the next video.

Feeding our little girl

She was approximately 3 weeks old when I first offered them food – canned chicken and tuna, soaked dried kitten food and finally raw meat. Brendy was the first who tried everything. She started eating 1 week sooner than her siblings. Similarly as at her Daddy, she prefers raw meat.
